Waka Waka (This time for Africa) T-shirt and Hoodies
The World Cup has come to an end with Spain becoming the champions for the first time ever. The many trends it has set is bound to stay for some time, like the Vuvuzelas, Shakira’s Waka Waka etc. Anyway, I did wrote about that t-shirt from the video of Shakira’s Waka Waka (This time for Africa) song last month and right now it’s the most popular post on this blog. This shows how popular that t-shirt has become. And that’s why it’s no wonder that many new t-shirts has come out now that are inspired by that design. Here are some new t-shirts and hoodies that are inspired by the Waka Waka t-shirt.

Well, if you are an England supporter you sure do! So, what you think? If that goal was allowed would things have been different? Well, this t-shirt certainly conveys this feeling. Check it out.

Vuvuzela T-shirts
Just a week passed of the FIFA world cup 2010 and we already know of some of the things that this soccer world cup will be remembered for. Robert Green’s terrible miss, North Korea’s impressive play, Maradona’s theatrics and of course, the Vuvuzela. I don’t know of any other musical instrument used by sports fans being so controversial. Annoyed by its never stopping buzz many people are complaining that it has made the world cup less watchable. And there are players too who complained being disturbed by the sound that makes one assume that the stadium is filled with thousands of bees. But it’s a local tradition in South Africa and surely would take the fun out of the game for the locals if it’s not there. And even though the sound is mostly annoying many people actually like it or like to annoy others with the sound. There’s even a Vuvuzela i-Phone app for it.
Anyway, love it or hate it the Vuvuzela has already made a mark in this world cup and reason why I chose to do a post on some Vuvuzela t-shirts. So, here are some Vuvuzela tees that you can wear in this world cup to show your love or hate for that annoying little thing.

Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) T-shirt
Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) is the official anthem for the FIFA World Cup 2010. The song by Shakira with collaboration with South African band Freshlyground, has been a big hit for both its catchy tune. The video features players like Messi, Pique, Alves and also includes various highlights from different matches. Have a look.
Anyway, I am not writing this as a music review so I will stop writing about the song anymore. Here’s the real deal. It’s about the t-shirt that you may have seen Messi and other players wearing in that video. And If you were wondering where to find that Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) t-shirt, here’s where.
The Waka Waka T-shirt is being distributed by Spanish fashion giant Mango, and it’s already on sale in stores and online. With its great and symbolic design that portrays the spirit of Africa so well, and the hit Waka Waka anthem to back it up, this t-shirt is bound to be highly sought after item in the coming days. The T-shirt costs $39.90 and as per Shakira’s website from the t-shirt sales goes to the Barefoot Foundation.

Liverpool Beach Ball 2-0 Bounce Back T-shirt
After Liverpool achieved a much needed win over their rival Manchester United (A match that will be remembered for many things), a new t-shirt is doing the rounds celebrating Liverpool’s win. The T-shirt design is a score line (2-0) with both the goal scorers name (Fernando Torres and David N’Gog) on it. The design also makes a reference to the now famous beach ball incident (at the match against Sunderland). Interestingly, the t-shirt design also bears resemblance to a similar t-shirt on sale (Sunderland Liverpool Beach Ball T-Shirt) on eBay that celebrates Sunderland’s win in the beach ball incident match.

The T-shirt, titled “Liverpool Beach Ball 2-0 Bounce Back ” is available only in white and costs £10.99.
You can buy the t-shirt here.
